Netflix’s ‘Adolescence’ can be a fictional show, but online extremism is real.

CCDH went back into the world’s largest incel forum – and found that it has nearly doubled in size since our “Incelosphere” report in 2022.

This means that the community’s extreme hate against women and calls for violence are reaching more and more people.

• We found that the forum received 2.7 million visits only in the first 3 months of 2025.

• The members of the incel forum responded to ‘Adolescence’ not only with renewed misogyny, but also with racist insults and antisemitic conspiracies.

• This expansion is even more concerning when considering our 2022 study of the same forum. At the time, we analyzed more than 1 million posts and found the promotion of extreme hatred, violence, and even mass shootings. One of our most shocking findings was that members posted about rape every 29 minutes.
