Finally, on Thursday, Senate Republicans voted down a motion by Democrats to undermine President Trump’s authority to deport illegal immigrants. Conservative SpotlightBILL HAGERTY — Sen. Bill Hagerty’s (R-TN) bill to create a legal framework for stablecoins — the GENIUS Act — may pass the Senate before the end of May. Two weeks ago, you may remember, Democrat supporters of the bill switched their votes to deny President Trump a win. Reportedly, those Democrats are back on board. The Senate could take up Hagerty’s bill as soon as this week. TED CRUZ — Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX) wants to give every American child a private, tax-free investment account — with a $1,000 seed investment. The “Invest America Act” would give all Americans access to the power of compound returns as soon as they are born. A pilot version of the proposal, which President Trump strongly supports, could be included in the “Big Beautiful Bill” now making its way through Congress. HOUSE CONSERVATIVES — SCF would like to offer three cheers to the conservatives in the House of Representatives holding the line on President Trump’s “Big, Beautiful Bill.” Swampy GOP elites are trying to pull the bill to the Left on taxes, spending, and regulatory reform.
