Chairman's Corner: A Note from Chairman Wood

President Trump's first one hundred days have been historic. We are a safer country given his focus on securing the southern border. Stopping the flow of illegal immigration, fentanyl, drugs, and sex trafficking while strengthening law enforcement and border patrols has been a high priority and has delivered strong results for our nation. Our partnership with Israel and our own Ambassador Mike Huckabee will be a tremendous asset to ongoing relations with our strongest ally in the Middle East.

This week, your RNC members: National Committeewoman Mindy McAlindon, National Committeeman Eddie Arnold, and I are attending the RNC Summer Training in Florida. An opportunity to reflect on what worked and what areas we need to leverage in our outreach strategies, ballot integrity and security, and prep for mid-term elections.

The 95th General Session has concluded, and I wish to highlight big wins for

Arkansans this session. We continue to put families first in Arkansas by

eliminating the grocery tax and strengthening laws toward those who abuse and exploit children. Economic drivers, such as removing barriers to grow businesses and creating new opportunities, were also a tremendous win for Arkansas. Tax credits for companies relocating their corporate headquarters to Arkansas, along with bills to support economic development and property and land security, make the state more attractive for business.

We have Senate and House leadership working to now share and communicate with folks across Arkansas on what policies they passed and how they will make for a stronger Arkansas.

Save the date for the State Committee Meeting. It will be June 21, 2025, here at the Republican Party Headquarters.

Finally, we focus on candidate filing, which will run from Nov. 3-11, 2025. The primary election will be March 3, 2026.

Thank you for being a part of the Republican Party of Arkansas - Let us keep Arkansas leading America!

Governor honors high school seniors from small rural schools at the Heartland Summit in Bentonville

"A group including the governor honored five high school seniors -- in training as a welder, an engineer, a musician, a psychologist and an internet service tech respectively -- on Thursday for finding their career paths through a guidance program new to Arkansas."

Over recent weeks, radical House Democrats have made a criminal illegal immigrant, MS-13 gang member, and alleged domestic abuser their new poster child. We've seen Democrats jetting down to El Salvador, staying at ritzy five-star resorts, all to lobby for their favorite gang-linked criminal. Their "Leader" Hakeem Jeffries even gave them his blessing.

Now that the record of Kilmar Abrego Garcia has dropped, House Democrats suddenly forgot how to talk.

"Out of touch House Democrats hitched their wagon to a criminal illegal immigrant, MS-13 gang member, and alleged domestic abuser. Now, they have suddenly forgotten how to talk. Funny how that works."

— NRCC Spokesman Mike Marinella

House Democrats were just caught red-handed lying (as usual) and using scare tactics (as usual) to defend waste, fraud, and benefits for criminal illegal immigrants rather than working to strengthen the program for the recipients it's intended for.

“First, their deceptive Medicaid billboards were taken down nationwide. Now, they're spreading outright lies about House Republicans’ plan to protect Medicaid and eliminate waste, fraud, and abuse, including from 1.4 million criminal illegal immigrants. After such a track record, how do they expect voters to trust anything they say?”— NRCC Spokesman Mike Marinella
