Donald Trump wants to deport the country’s DREAMers -- and then blame Democrats.

POLITICO reports that Trump and his team are planning to use DREAMers as a bargaining chip, hoping that by delaying deportations they might earn larger concessions from Democrats on immigration. If Democrats say no to Trump’s terms, he’ll deport the DREAMers and blame his opposition -- either way, immigrants lose.

It’s not the first time the Trump administration has acted despicably toward DREAMers -- Betsy DeVos’s refusal to allow undocumented students access to federal relief funds shows exactly how heartless the GOP can be.

Now Joe Biden is speaking out against Republicans’ latest partisan ploy, saying, “The millions of undocumented people in the United States can only be brought out of the shadows through fair treatment, not ugly threats.” We agree. Do you? Tell us where you stand:
