There’s no denying the unique struggles faced by children who are fighting critical illnesses. Or the life-changing impact that a wish can have on those kids when they need it most.
For these kids, wishes are vital. In fact, 8 out of 10 kids say their wish gave them the strength to fight their critical illness.
Isaiah lives with a nervous system disorder. It’s severe enough that he used to be too scared to play basketball in front of other kids — he was afraid they’d bully him. But that was before his wish was granted.
Wishes take time, people and funding, which is why we need your support right now. About 40 kids are added to the waiting list every day. Kids like Isaiah. |
Isaiah’s wish to have a backyard basketball court did more than give him back his confidence. His wish gave him back his childhood by helping him find the strength to keep fighting his critical illness — both physically and mentally. Now, Isaiah looks forward to trying out for his high school basketball team.
As kids fighting critical illnesses request their summer wishes, we need just 30 more donors to join us by midnight tomorrow to keep granting wishes to kids fighting critical illnesses. Can we count on you to give now and help more waiting children?
Thousands of children are waiting on their wishes. Will you be one of the WishMakers who help those wishes come true?
Wishfully, |
