Greetings!
I have always known in my heart that my purpose on this earth is service to others, and I intended to dedicate my full career to serving in the Army. When I was blown up in Afghanistan, however, that reality changed for me. Still, I knew I couldn’t let my best and only service to our nation be behind me.

So, as I was recovering in Walter Reed learning to walk again, I set out to find another way to give back. That’s always been my mentality - no sitting on my butt feeling sorry for myself. What’s next turned out to be finding a second career of service as a conservative representative for Florida’s 18th Congressional District.

I love the job, but just like serving in the Army, there are parts that are less than desirable. Frankly, asking for campaign donations is awkward to me. It’s just not how I was raised.

The constant need to raise money for campaigns is a very unfortunate side effect of serving in Congress these days, but the reality is that if we don’t, Congress will be overrun with socialist liberals doing Nancy Pelosi’s bidding day in and day out. We can’t let that happen.
With only a handful of months between now and Election Day, we are running out of time in terms of setting ourselves up for success in November. Tomorrow is our mid-month deadline. We set a goal to raise $75,000 this month, and frankly, we’re a little behind that pace.

We still have time to hit our mark, but we have to act fast. That’s why I’m asking if you can please help us raise $2,210 in the next 24 hours for our 2020 Defense Fund. This is the fund that is used to fight back against Pelosi’s hateful, socialist agenda, and raising $2,210 will put us back on track.
I can’t reiterate how important these benchmarks are leading up to Election Day. If we fall short, we have to adjust our budget and that means cutting critical spending that should be going to voter outreach. On the other hand, when we reach or exceed our goals, we can fully fund efforts to take back the House from Pelosi’s iron grip.

Your support is so critical to achieving this mission. Thank you!!!
Sincerely,
SSG Brian Mast, U.S. Army (ret.)
United States Congressman, FL-18
