There is so
much happening in Washington that’s worth our outrage.

But it’s not enough for Democrats to be against what the Trump
Administration is doing. We have to be able to present a positive agenda
to improve people’s lives and futures.

* Not only do we have to defend Medicaid from Republican cuts, we have
to work to expand it and provide healthcare access for even more
people who need it.

* We have to stop the GOP from slashing Social Security, and we have to
work to shore it up and ensure that future generations can still
benefit from the program.

* We need to address the kitchen table issues – the cost of housing,
child care, and energy that’s far too high for working families in New
Hampshire. We must provide relief for families and offer constructive
solutions to lower these prices over time.

These are the kinds of issues Chris is engaging with in Congress and in
this campaign for Senate.

Chris knows that we need to stand up and demand checks and balances on the
Trump administration – and we need to offer an economic roadmap for
rebuilding the middle class and making life better for folks in the
Granite State and all across the country.

We have to do both. That’s how we’re going to
win this fight for one of the most vulnerable blue Senate seats in
America, just like Chris has won four times in his highly competitive
congressional district. We’re going to fight back – and fight for our
future.
