An investment in this ministry is already a great value—but right now, it’s even better: every gift is being doubled.
For decades, Minnesota Family Council has punched above its weight—winning against bigger, better-funded opponents—thanks to God’s grace, a hardworking team, and faithful supporters like you.
A great example is our recent victory against mobile sports betting. This was a top defensive priority this session, and our leadership made headlines. As the Star Tribune put it:
“Chalk it up as another victory for the anti-gambling forces, including the Minnesota Family Council, who have created a formidable coalition with a fraction of the money available to the pro-betting lobby.”
That’s what we do. We form coalitions—working with like-minded groups and individuals to accomplish more together than we ever could alone.
In many ways, MFC itself is a coalition. Our team includes Christ-followers from different denominations. Our allies include people of all faiths. And our supporters come from every corner of Minnesota—what unites us is our shared vision and values. Together, we’re far greater than the sum of our parts.
But that “sum” is about to grow.
While we don’t claim to be a team of Hall of Famers, we’re adding a true all-star—someone who will strengthen every part of our work.
I’m thrilled to announce what I shared at Saturday’s Annual Dinner: former state legislator and Attorney General candidate Doug Wardlow is joining MFC as Director of Litigation for True North Legal to bolster our efforts in the courts. Doug is an accomplished litigator with national advocacy experience, and has spent years fighting for children, parents, the unborn, and religious liberty.
More importantly, as a family man and Minnesotan, he shares our values to protect Minnesota families. We aren't the only ones who are excited about Doug. The White House and the DOJ would have liked for Doug to come to DC, but they are happy to see him join TNL where he can amplify our efforts to advance the cause of life, family, and religious freedom. to make an impact here at home.
