During National Police Week, Speaker Johnson and House Republicans passed multiple bills to protect and support our law enforcement officers, including H.R. 2240, Improving Law Enforcement Officer Safety and Wellness Through Data Act, H.R. 2243, LEOSA Reform Act of 2025, and H.R. 2255, Federal Law Enforcement Officer Service Weapon Purchase Act.

On Tuesday, Speaker Johnson delivered remarks at the House Republican Leadership weekly press conference. He provided an update on President Trump’s One, Big Beautiful Bill, addressed Congressional Democrats' shameful altercation with ICE agents in New Jersey, and exposed Democrat lies about Medicaid. HIGHLIGHTS OF THE WEEK

In honor of National Police Week, Speaker Johnson hosted a candlelight vigil in the U.S. Capitol on Monday to pay tribute to fallen police officers and commemorate their service to our nation. Speaker Johnson was joined by families of fallen officers and members of the House Republican Conference. Click the photo below to watch his remarks.

On Tuesday morning, Speaker Johnson and members of Congress laid a wreath on the National Law Enforcement Memorial to pay tribute to the 345 officers names who will be added to the memorial this year and to the more than 24,000 who have perished in the line of duty.
