President Trump is calling
the GOP budget proposal his “big, beautiful bill.”

The budget is certainly big, but there’s nothing beautiful about funding
billionaire tax cuts on the backs of our neighbors who rely on essential
programs like Medicaid to survive.

Medicaid, nutrition assistance, employment services, and other vital
programs under attack in this budget are essential for folks in New
Hampshire and across the country. But this Republican budget is attempting
to destroy the social safety net that helps so many.

I’m going to continue standing up to defend Medicaid and other services
that Washington Republicans are intent on slashing in their new budget. We
must keep speaking up and making a lot of noise to bring attention to the
dangerous GOP budget.

While national Republicans work to pass their budget, they’re also making
plans to grow their majorities in Congress and bolster their ability to
push through Trump’s agenda. And they’ve got their sights set on New
Hampshire – specifically flipping our Senate seat red.

But we can stop them together,. I’ve won in one of the most competitive
districts in the country four times in a row. I know what it takes to win
close elections. The secret? A strong grassroots team. People coming
together in a big way to compete against the Republican noise machine,
right-wing billionaires, and special interest groups.
