John,
Last year, Amazon made over $36 billion in profit. Jeff Bezos is the second richest person on Earth. And yet, the people who keep Amazon running everyday, the warehouse workers and delivery drivers, are being injured at alarming rates.
A Senate investigation confirmed it: in 2023, Amazon warehouse injuries were more than 30% higher than the industry average. That’s not an accident — it's part of Amazon's business model.
Amazon’s workers have had enough. They’re standing up, organizing, striking, and demanding what every worker deserves: safety, dignity, and accountability. And now they’re asking us to stand with them.
If you’ll join us and stand with Amazon workers, please add your name today to support the Safety Bill of Rights.
The Safety Bill of Rights was drafted by Amazon workers. It demands real protections from injury, retaliation, and exploitation in some of the most dangerous workplaces in America.
We know that Amazon won’t change on its own, because worker safety isn’t profitable. But Amazon’s workers aren’t backing down — and neither should we. This is a fight for human rights and dignity in the workplace, and it’s one of the most important labor struggles of our time.
Amazon is one of the biggest employers in the United States, and it’s past time they’re held accountable to protect their workers.
Stand with Amazon workers. Sign on now to support the Safety Bill of Rights.
In solidarity,
— Democratic Values
