I can’t tell you how fired up I am to elect Jim Hood as the next governor of Mississippi.

I’m a Louisianan, born and bred, and I’ve been watching this race next door like a hawk. It’s a clear toss-up -- all he needs are the resources to get out his message.

That’s why I’m reaching out -- can you chip in to support Jim’s campaign?

I’ve followed Jim’s career for a long time, and I have seen few candidates who are more qualified to serve as governor.

Jim served for 10 years as a district attorney, and he’s going on 16 years as Mississippi’s attorney general. He took on BP when they ravaged the Mississippi and Louisiana coasts, he protected consumers in the wake of Hurricane Katrina, he’s prosecuted the Klan, and he’s locked up domestic abusers and child pornographers.

Not only that, but he’s won statewide office four times as AG. That’s a recipe for a win if I ever saw one.

Jim can win this race, and he’ll make a real difference as governor too -- by expanding health care, fixing Mississippi's roads and bridges, investing in public schools and teachers, and cleaning up corruption in their state government.

I’m all in on this race, and I need you to be too. Will you join me in supporting Jim’s campaign?
