The GOP is trying to push through a budget that will have disastrous effects for millions of Americans. They’re prioritizing the same people they’ve always prioritized: the ultra-wealthy. 

Trump and House Republicans care more about tax cuts for billionaires than doing what’s best for everyday Americans. Their proposed cuts to Medicaid are just the latest attempt. 

Millions of Americans stand to lose health coverage all because the GOP wants to line the pockets of their rich friends. But my Democratic colleagues and I are not backing down without a fight. 

We’re standing up to Trump and House Republicans as they attempt to strip Medicaid from tens of millions of Americans. Will you donate to my campaign so I can be fully equipped to fight back?

In response to the GOP’s backward budget bill, I proposed amendments to stop them from giving tax cuts to people who make more than $10 million and to prevent rate hikes for people covered by the Affordable Care Act. Every single Ways and Means Republican voted no on these common-sense protections. They prove time and again that they don’t care about working Americans. 

But I'm not deterred. In fact, I'm more determined than ever to fight back for workers and families. There is nothing more important to me than fighting to make sure everyday Americans are shielded from the dangerous consequences of the GOP’s policies.
