Friend, there are loads of reasons why I think you should join my campaign to be Iowa’s next governor.
But rather than sending you the world’s longest email ( I could, but I won’t ), I’m just going to give you 5 big reasons why you should join my campaign as a Founding Donor today! But if you’re in a hurry or you’re already sold ( hooray! ), you can split a donation of $5 — $1 for each reason below — between my campaign and iVote Fund to become a Founding Donor today! Alright, friend, here’s the rundown:
1. This campaign runs on grassroots support (and caffeine). In order to take on the insiders and special interests and win this critical race, we need to build the biggest, baddest grassroots movement Iowa has ever seen!
2. We need to reach voters in every corner of the state. Face-to-face conversations are going to be absolutely critical to getting my Iowa-first message in front of voters in all 99 counties.
3. We need to juice our digital program in a big way. We need to reach people where they’re at, and running a robust, efficient digital program means we can connect with people on email, texting, and social media.
4. I’m not afraid to go head-to-head with partisan insiders. In fact, it’s kind of my specialty, and I’ve made a career of standing up to powerful players to fight on behalf of everyday Iowans and I’m not stopping now.
5. We’re closing in on our 8,000 Founding Donor goal! Hitting this benchmark will send a message that we’re starting this race off with a BANG and band of grassroots supporters to boot.
So what do you say, friend? Will you split $5 (or $25! Or $50!) today with iVote Fund to help us hit our 8,000 Founding Donor goal? I can’t do this without you! [[link removed]]

iVote was created in 2014 with one goal: secure voting rights for all Americans.
Rather than take on challenges in the court after unfair laws have passed, iVote plays defense on voter suppression efforts AND goes on offense to secure and expand access to voting.
Going on offense is critical. We have the chance to elect Secretaries of State that will protect our elections for years to come. But Republicans are already suppressing and blocking certain citizens from exercising their fundamental right to vote.

We need a massive coalition to register new voters and protect our right to vote in this election and beyond.
We know you get a lot of emails, but it's only because this fight is so important. We need you to stick with us long term. But if you must go, you can unsubscribe.
