“Trump's anti-media rhetoric turns to action”

John: Donald Trump has focused his second term so far on going after any institution that won’t fall in line with his MAGA agenda – including the free press:

FIRST, he BANNED the Associated Press from the White House after they refused to refer to the Gulf of Mexico as the Gulf of America, and called for MSNBC to be shut down completely – saying “they shouldn’t even have a right to broadcast!”

THEN, his FCC Chair Brendan Carr launched an OFFICIAL INVESTIGATION into NPR and PBS. Marjorie Taylor Greene even had their CEOs testify in front of her DOGE subcommittee, accusing them of being a “radical left-wing echo chamber” that is spreading a “communist agenda”!

AND NOW, Donald Trump signed an Executive Order to OFFICIALLY DEFUND NPR and PBS!

It’s clear: Trump’s attacks on vital news organizations are getting more targeted by the day – to the point where a whopping 7 in 10 Americans are concerned about potential restrictions on press freedom, a first amendment right!
