"Worried Trump Will Disrupt Voting This Fall? Here's What to Watch For"


Look, friend -- Politico Magazine recently published a list of ways that Trump and Republicans could manipulate the election. And guess what? They've already begun.

Here's what they're doing:

➔ Trump is railing against vote-by-mail, a necessary solution during this public health crisis. He's said repeatedly that it's rife with fraud, despite a complete lack of evidence -- and many Republican politicians are following his lead.
➔ Trump is trying to gut the U.S. Postal Service. The post office is critical to the delivery of mail-in ballots.
➔ Republicans are using the courts to defeat policies that would make voting more accessible. They're ready to spend $20 million to challenge rules that would ease voting before November.
➔ Republicans plan to recruit 50,000 "poll watchers" to intimidate voters. They say they're watching for fraud, but their efforts have been proven in court to keep people of color from voting.

It's not a matter of whether Trump and the GOP could disrupt voting -- they're actively doing it already.
