Back The Blue: Thom Honors North Carolina Law Enforcement Officers During
National Police Week
Thom delivered remarks on the Senate floor in honor of North Carolina law
enforcement officers who made the ultimate sacrifice in the last year.
He encouraged his Senate colleagues to help pass the Protect and Serve Act,
his bill that would give federal prosecutors more tools to go after those who
deliberately target law enforcement officers by making it a federal crime to
knowingly cause, or attempt to cause, bodily injury to a law enforcement
officer.
As Thom said to the families of the fallen, your loss is shared by a grateful
nation. We will never forget your loved ones' service nor their sacrifice.

Making America Safe Again: Senate Republicans Fight For President Trump’s
Agenda

This week, Senate Republicans blocked Democrats’ futile attempts to require
more “transparency” from the Trump administration about deportations to El
Salvador.
The political stunt was struck down easily because it’s plain to see that the
Left isn’t actually concerned with human rights—they’re just determined to
derail any progress Republicans are making on President Trump’s agenda.
Thom has continuously reaffirmed his support for deporting those with gang and
terrorist affiliations.
If Democrats are content being known as the party that defends violent
criminals, 2026 will surely be another wake-up call. Our country is safer and
more secure under President Trump.
The Big, Beautiful Bill: The Fight for Trump’s Tax Cuts Continues
The fight to extend President Trump’s tax cuts continues—and it will soon be
headed to the Senate. Thom recently emphasized the need to get a “big,
beautiful tax bill” passed, adding that failure is not an option.
Republicans have a critical opportunity to pass a comprehensive bill that will
provide relief for hardworking American families and small businesses, and Thom
is committed to fighting until the very end.
A tax code that rewards hard work and fuels economic growth is a cornerstone
of the America First agenda!
