Hi John,
This past Thursday, we shared that we needed your financial support to make sure our TV ad can stay on the air leading up to our primary on June 23.
Since then, many of you have stepped up to support this effort and raised $44,000 towards keeping our ad on the air until June 23, which targets audiences who aren't reachable by phone or through digital ads.
But the deadline for our last possible TV ad buy is at 12 noon tomorrow, and we're still $6,000 short of the $50,000 we need in order to keep our ads running strong.
Will you step up and chip in $5 right now, and help us shore this gap so we can make our final ad buy tomorrow? Your contribution today will also help us hit our final mid-month goal of reaching 15,000 donors:

John:
Starting early next week, we're airing this ad on TV so we can reach voters in NY-16 who aren't reachable by phone or through digital ads:
Recent polling shows us that this ad increases support for Jamaal Bowman and decreases support for Eliot Engel.
With just 12 days left until the primary, we still have many more voters to reach, and we need to make sure that as many of them as possible see this ad. Our team has told me that we're going to need at least $50,000 more to maintain the level of outreach to those audiences.
Can you chip in $5 toward making sure this ad can stay on the air in the lead up to our primary on June 23?

These ads are working because they bring to light something that Eliot Engel's campaign has tried to cover: the fact that he doesn't care about us unless there's an election.
Since Jamaal announced his campaign, many of the voters we've talked to in our district use the word "absent" to describe Eliot Engel, who has largely been ignoring his constituents while at his home in suburban Maryland.
And last week, at a community event in the Bronx addressing the recent Black Lives Matter protests in the city, he was caught telling Bronx Borough President Ruben Díaz, Jr.: "If I didn't have a primary, I wouldn't care."
Eliot Engel has represented this district for 31 years. Yet he is willing to say out loud that he only cares about this community when his political position is threatened.
NY-16 residents deserve better than this, John. They deserve a leader like Jamaal who's not only present in-district, but also ready to continue the fight for working-class families in Washington.
In 12 days, we can get one step closer to making that change happen — but we need to reach as many people as we can now, particularly those who aren't reachable by phone or through digital ads.
Please, chip in $5 or whatever you're able to keep our TV ads running strong through June 23:
