At a moment when many of us are asking how we can make a difference, there is
a simple way to help save lives and address a major challenge created by the
COVID-19 pandemic: we can donate blood. Today is World Blood Donor Day, and the
American Red Cross has identified an urgent need for healthy individuals to
give.

made it difficult to maintain the supply needed for medical emergencies. At
this moment of extreme uncertainty, every donation counts.
