Help restore HOPE in Gaza.

Friend, every day in Gaza, Project HOPE's teams are seeing more and more children arrive at our clinics - weak, dangerously underweight, and in desperate need of care.

And behind every case is a parent and a health worker living through unimaginable circumstances. I am so inspired by my colleagues who are working tirelessly to deliver lifesaving care to children and families, and I want to share some of their stories with you.

"Two months ago, during the ceasefire, the malnutrition cases did not exceed 50 cases per day. Now, we're seeing about 200 cases per day. ... We have also noticed a sharp rise in both moderate and severe malnutrition cases. We used to see one or two cases per day, but now the cases of severe and moderate malnutrition range from 10 to 15 per day." - Ghadeer, Project HOPE nurse, Gaza

"My child was born a healthy, active baby with a potbelly. He laughed, cried, and interacted. But due to a lack of food, he became lethargic and weak. He stopped responding to me - his mother. There were no smiles, no activity. He became indifferent, almost like a doll. At one year and two months, his weight was that of an 8-month-old." - Ameini, mother of Motaz, a young boy receiving care at Project HOPE's clinic in Khan

"Every day, we see women and children coming into our clinic suffering from acute malnutrition. The shelves at the market are empty. ... As infectious diseases spread in crammed areas and food becomes even scarcer, we will see more and more people going hungry - including the health workers who are trying to help. I worry every day that I won't find anything to eat." - Dr. Maram, Project HOPE, Gaza

This is the human cost of a brutal war, government funding cuts, and an unrelenting aid blockade. And now - as hunger and malnutrition mean children and families face widespread starvation on top of a dire health care crisis - people are lining up at our clinics for support, even as they face permanent closures.

Project HOPE is doing everything we can to overcome these challenges and deliver critical medical care to people in urgent need: treating injuries, supporting pregnant mothers, and caring for children facing complications from hunger. But we can't do it without you.

Your support today would mean so much to me. It would mean more lives can be saved, not just in Gaza, but around the world in other places where we work to deliver health care and HOPE to children and families who need it.

Please, if you're able, donate to Project HOPE today: Every dollar you give can help us continue delivering lifesaving care in crisis zones like Gaza and support people where the need is greatest.
