Praise God for the successful launch of the Guide for an Integral Approach to Investigations of Sexual Violence in Colombia. Developed by IJM and the Colombian Institute of Forensic Medicine, this guide is now available throughout the country to help health care professionals improve care for survivors of violence. With the help of this resource, doctors and nurses will find guidance on how to better collect evidence, which will ultimately help solve criminal investigations. Thank you for praying! Please continue to pray that the guide will quickly become a widely used resource for healthcare professionals nationwide. |

Praise God for the bravery of two young boys who escaped abuse and for a compassionate fisherman who brought them to safety earlier this year in Ghana. Thank God for the swift, coordinated response of trained authorities and IJM, which ensured the boys are now safe and receiving care. We pray for continued healing for the boys and for justice to be served as investigations continue. |

Praise God for 20 adults and eight children rescued from a very violent brick kiln late last week. These nine families were trafficked and forced to work in appalling conditions for four months. Even the kids worked under threat their parents would be beaten if they did not. We thank God for our diligent government and NGO partners who led a swift rescue, brought these families to safety and arrested the abusive kiln owner. Pray for the survivors’ recovery and for swift justice in this case. |
