Our government should work for people, not big money donors and corporations who cut campaign checks to call the shots in Washington.

We’ve got to do something about it.

I’m joining 41 of my colleagues in the Senate to sponsor the Democracy for All Amendment that would overturn Citizens United by declaring that corporations are not people and give Congress the power to seriously regulate campaign finance.

It’s pretty simple: get the big money out of politics, and make sure our government works for people.

Mitch McConnell and his big donors and super PAC allies are going to do whatever they can to stop our Amendment from happening. After all, the way Washington is run works great for them.
