The Trump Administration has made a back-alley deal with the gun lobby to allow the sale of devices that turn semiautomatic firearms into machine guns.

The Trump Administration is working around the legal system to permit the sale of "Forced Reset Triggers" (FRTs), which massively increase the rate of fire of a gun with a single, constant pull of the trigger.

FRTs will have no regulation or background check requirement, meaning anyone will be able to transform a firearm into a deadly machine gun, unchecked.
