I know we’re all living in challenging times, but the fact is I need your help.

From day one of Trump’s second term, I’ve been doing everything I can to fight his attempts to disenfranchise our communities and dismantle our democracy. I joined other members of Congress in pushing back against his attempts to suppress voters and to end union rights for federal workers – attempts that have now both been blocked by federal judges. I’ve fought against his administration’s moves to circumvent our right to due process with illegal deportations and arrests. At every turn, I’ve been on the front lines in my district and in DC to stand against the far-right’s attempts to turn our democracy into an oligarchy.

It is my duty to work for our community, and I am proud to stand for you in congress. But I know that raising my voice means putting a target on my back.

Republicans do not like Progressive candidates who stand against their underhanded attempts to oppress our communities. It’s only a matter of time before they debut a candidate to run against me. A candidate that will be backed by super PACs and corporations to try and buy my seat.

If they’re allowed to win in 2026, it will mean the dismantling of everything we have worked toward, and our belief that every single community member deserves a bright, happy, and healthy future.
