Kristi Noem, homeland security secretary and America's proudest dog killer, tried to sneak $50 million into the DHS budget for a private plane. Even though DHS already has one for her. "I was horrified last Friday when we received a last minute addition to your spend plan for fiscal '25, a new $50 million Gulfstream 5 for Secretary Noem's personal travel coming from the Coast Guard budget. She already has a Gulfstream 5, by the way, this is a new one," rep Lauren underwood told Noem in a hearing. Unless she's planning on cloning herself, Noem should be just fine with the private jet she already has. And we don't need to waste money on something utterly unnecessary.
