Hey, John. This isn’t the news I wanted to share on a Friday, but it looks like we missed our mid-month fundraising goal last night. We’re still falling just a bit short of where we need to be this month.

Here’s why this means trouble: Republicans have already started attacking me, and as one of their top targets, we can’t fall short if we’re going to fight back. 

Here’s the good news: Sometimes we miss goals, but with the support of this grassroots team, we can get right back on track. Small-dollar, grassroots support is the only way we’re going to continue fighting back against GOP dark money.

And now that we’re officially halfway through the quarter, we have zero time to waste! So what do you say? Will you chip in $5 or more today to help us catch up on our mid-month fundraising goal?
