For Immediate Release

INDIANAPOLIS (May 16, 2025) –  After more than four years of strategic planning and three years of ongoing construction, the Lincoln Amphitheatre will kick off its 38th season with a profoundly new look.  The historic and beloved outdoor performance venue located within Lincoln State Park in Lincoln City, Indiana, has undergone a significant transformation—expanding its seating capacity from 1,500 to 2,200.

This multi-phase and multi-year renovation project, led by the Indiana Department of Natural Resources (IDNR) in partnership with the Indiana Destination Development Corporation (IDDC), will enhance the overall patron experience and allow for more opportunities for visitors from across the region and beyond to attend events at the popular state-owned and operated facility.
