Pride month is just around the corner!
This year, in spite of the onslaught of anti-LGBTQ+ sentiment from some of our nation’s political leaders and our society’s deepening cultural divide, we want to shed light on our community’s strength, power, and perseverance.
Pride began as a protest and every June we remember the brave people who lead the charge in the fight for equality.
In 2025, GLSEN envisions a vibrant, united LGBTQ+ community that celebrates its unique identities and diverse voices, harnessing our collective power to ignite a movement for lasting social and educational justice.
Now we want to hear from you.
Use one or more of these prompts below to tell us what Pride means to you and we might share it with our network! It might show up on our social channels, in an email, on a postcard, or on our website.
All submissions will remain anonymous, unless otherwise specified by the submitter.
How is Pride different this year than in the past?
What unites you to your LGBTQ+ community?
What does visibility look like to you?

Your voice matters to us and it’s important to share stories from our community. We will be loud, we will be proud, and we will fight for justice in and out of the classroom.
We stand together, United for Pride, June and beyond.
