Today is Native Nonprofit Day, a time to recognize and uplift Native-led organizations working to support Native families and communities.

CSVANW is proud to show up alongside Native-led nonprofits across the country to celebrate our communities’ strength and invite you to be part of it.

Yet, Native-led nonprofits receive less than 0.23% of funding from large U.S. foundations. This longstanding underinvestment limits the ability of Native organizations to meet growing needs, build long-term capacity, and sustain solutions that are created by and for our communities.

Native Nonprofit Day, today is more than a fundraiser; it’s a movement. This initiative uplifts and invests in Native-led organizations driving community healing and change through empowerment, education, and transformation.

Your support fuels three vital areas:

  • Native Youth: Building leadership through mentorship and opportunity
  • Advocates: Strengthening those on the frontlines of healing and justice
  • Training & Awareness: Expanding trauma-informed, culturally rooted care

Every dollar helps build a future grounded in resilience, strength, and Native-led solutions.

Join us in amplifying #NativeNonprofitDay, #GiveNative, #SupportNativeLed, and help strengthen advocacy, uplift community-led solutions, and advance the movement of cycle breakers across Native communities.

Together, we build a future rooted in healing and empowerment.

Today, we invite you to explore the Native Nonprofit List curated by the Native Ways Federation, a growing directory of Native-led organizations dedicated to uplifting Tribal communities across the country.

Native-led nonprofits are rooted in the values, voices, and visions of our people. They carry the wisdom, trust, and lived experience needed to create real, lasting change.

When you support Native-led work, you're not just giving, you’re investing in the future of our communities.

Native Nonprofit Day is a powerful reminder that Native leadership matters.
