Dear John,
Happy Friday! We are sharing a new round of all things interesting and inspiring. Grab some coffee or tea and kick off your Friday with us!
It's been a while since we've sent one of these, so if you'll indulge us in a little Ipas horn-tooting 🎺:
- The Bolivian Senate just took a historic step against child marriage. Ipas testimony helped prompt the Bolivian government to commit to take action to address the country’s child marriage crisis. In their advocacy efforts, allied organizations including Ipas Bolivia have helped ensure that girls and adolescents can live a free, safe, and opportunity-filled childhood. ❤️

Speaking of advocacy, we know that resistance movements have always learned winning strategies and perspectives from those who’ve come before. That’s why we’re seeking to resist and persist in the current moment through reading—and meaningful discussion with our communities. Please join us! 📚

Prefer to wear your resistance? We're proud to have collaborated with two incredible artists, Devon Blow and Camilla Rosa to create wearable art! When you wear our custom merch, know you’re part of the growing resistance to attacks on repro rights. ✊

We’ve been coming back to this essay that reminds us that joy in the face of justice work is an act of resistance. Austin Channing Brown gives us encouragement to pursue "a joy with some heft and tiger stripes." 🐯
