As Congress debates the federal budget, a critical question looms:

Will Representatives support cutting Medicaid for working families who meet all eligibility requirements?

If the answer is yes—or if they stay silent—then they are choosing political expediency over responsible governance.

Let’s be clear: eliminating fraud, waste, and abuse is common ground. But cutting services from Americans who rely on them—who qualify under the law—is not fiscal responsibility. It’s policy failure. And it erodes public trust in our institutions, with long-term consequences for our democracy.

That’s why Country First is holding a Day of Action this Tuesday at 1:00 PM ET. We’ll be contacting key Members of Congress to demand a clear answer:
Will you vote to cut Medicaid for those who qualify? Yes or no?
