Top Paddle-Out Protest Tips: 1. Bring a placard

2. Fancy dress & props
Wetsuits, sea creature costumes and pirate hats. Creative outfits catch the eye, make for powerful visuals and help represent your community. Go solo or coordinate with your crew for a themed look.

3. Paddle safe
If you're going in the water, bring your board, a leash, a buoyancy aid if needed, suncream and warm layers for afterwards. Check the weather and tides, and follow the event organisers' and lifeguards’ advice. You can also bring a friend and look out for each other!

Each event is unique to its community. Bring chants, songs, or even instruments. Tell your story and why ending sewage pollution matters to you. Let’s turn up the volume on #PeoplePower!
