CDC vouchers launched; PAP Govt will continue to strengthen S'pore's social support system 

The PAP Government has been, and will continue to strengthen Singapore’s social system, Prime Minster Lawrence Wong said at the launch of the seventh tranche of the Community Development Council (CDC) vouchers scheme on May 13. 

“We have started this process recently through Forward Singapore, and we will continue in the coming years. All these updates, changes, improvements to policies, will help to provide Singaporeans with greater assurance through every life stage.” Read more

Outgoing Defence Minister Ng Eng Hen said the results from the recent general election results were an affirmation of rational and progressive politics in Singapore. He stressed that integrity must be core to Singapore’s political process. Read more
The People’s Action Party is setting up new branches in various parts of Singapore to better serve residents. One such branch is the Tampines Boulevard division in Tampines GRC, which will be headed by MP Baey Yam Keng. Read more.  
 
On May 10 and 11, PAP Women’s Wing Chairperson Sim Ann and new MPs like Cassandra Lee and Hazlina Abdul Halim, together with activists, gave away over 5,000 soap flowers to residents to honour Singapore’s mothers. Read more
