The Sausage & Cider Festival returns to Nottingham for a spectacular day of feasting and drinking, including dozens of sausage and cider flavours, eating competitions, and festival bars! 

Chris Moyles - best-known for hosting the legendary BBC Radio One Breakfast Show, and current host of The Chris Moyles Show on Radio X - will be joining the line-up with a DJ set, alongside special guests Barrioke (Barry from "Eastenders"), Kevin & Perry, and Big John.

There will also be incredible tribute performances to Mumford & Sons, Fleetwood Mac, Oasis, Madness, Stereophonics, and Kings of Leon.

Sneinton Market Avenues

A line-up of 40 local and national breweries will be at the Nottingham Craft Beer Festival this June, including Buxton Brewery, Blue Monkey, Neon Raptor, Wild Horse Brewing Co, Kraft Werks, and many more. *See the list of breweries here [ [link removed] ]*.

Sneinton Market Avenues provides a unique atmosphere, with beer stalls taking over the avenues lined by independent businesses. Live music and entertainment will be programmed by The Grove, a new small music venue within the site, and street food will also be on offer from a range of food trucks, curated by site residents Bustler.

The UK's most popular food and music festival is coming to Nottingham. Michelin stars and top chefs will join Masterchef and Bake Off champions on stage, with chart toppers Blue, The Wanted 2.0 and house legend DJ Judge Jules.

At the three day 'Gastro Glastonbury' you will see top chefs cooking live, learn baking tips and enjoy champagne, wine, beer and cocktail classes all included in your ticket. Kids will be entertained with cooking lessons, crafting and fairground rides making it a fun family day out. Dogs are welcome too!

My Life in Light: Photography Exhibition

Tracey Whitefoot, one of Nottingham’s most renowned and successful local photographers, is launching a brand-new exhibition celebrating the beauty of our local area in landscape photos. There will be 65 images on display, captured over the last two decades and featuring scenes from around Nottinghamshire.

Two of Tracey’s most popular and beautiful photographs will be featured, including her most well-known image of Goose Fair, and Narnia, a magical winter scene captured in rural Nottinghamshire. Visitors can chat to her during the exhibition launch on Saturday 24 May from 9am-4pm.

Home to the legendary Robin Hood and with a long-standing history of rebellion at Nottingham Castle, the three-day medieval weekend will showcase cave tours and a medieval encampment. It will include the Lincolnshire medieval re-enactment society, Knights of Skirbeck, who provide a unique blend of living history and entertainment.

Beyond the medieval activities in the grounds, on site there will be mouth-watering food and drink options within the visitor centre and cafés, and the shop will even have child-friendly archery sets for little ones inspired to take up a new hobby. Standard admission applies.
