Dear John,

Back in 2017, some Republicans at least had the courage to speak out against Donald Trump. They called out his lies. They warned us about his extremism.

But now? In 2025, they've fallen completely in line. The GOP isn't just enabling Trump—it's afraid of him.

Republican lawmakers know how dangerous Trump is. Many privately admit they're alarmed by his rhetoric and actions. But they won't say it publicly. Why? Because they're scared. Scared of retaliation. Scared of losing power.

Senator Lisa Murkowski even warned that Elon Musk is pressuring Republicans into silence. Trump has turned the GOP into a MAGA cult—and fear, not principle, is driving their decisions.

We can't afford to be the party that flinches. If we want to take back the House in 2026, we have to show the country what real leadership looks like.

That means standing up to Trump. It means fighting to lower costs, protect reproductive rights, and combat climate change. And it means showing voters that we won't be intimidated.

Can you chip in today to help us build a stronger, united front?
