john, I wanted to send you a quick personal note—because there’s so much at stake right now, and so many fights ahead.

To crack down on price gouging, bring down costs, build more housing, protect reproductive rights, stand up for our democracy, defend healthcare, and make sure families in our district have what they need to thrive—I’m ready to give this campaign everything I’ve got.

I’ve done it before, and I’ll do it again, because this work is too important to sit out. But I can’t do it alone. Your support is and always has been the backbone of this campaign…it's what keeps us on the ground, reaching voters, holding this seat, and fighting back against extremists who are hell-bent on rolling back progress.

That's why it's crucial that I'm clear with you and tell you that we’re falling short of our mid-month fundraising goal for May. This is one of those moments where what you choose to do after opening this email will make a difference in how strong our campaign can fight—this month, and beyond. I need your help to continue to go to bat for families just like yours. Can I count on you to chip in whatever you can to help me close the gap before midnight tonight? >> [link removed]

Thank you for all that you do,

—Kim
