This is what a post- Roe America looks like, John: Clinics and hospitals in rural communities like ours have been shuttered, leaving so many women and mothers without access to care. Maternal mortality rates continue to rise.

Yet, ultra-conservatives in the House are advancing a spending bill that cuts Medicaid and defunds Planned Parenthood, directly endangering the health and lives of millions.

Our fight for the right to choose is not over. I won’t give up until all women have access to safe reproductive and maternal care.
