I want to tell you about a special project ([link removed] ) we’re facilitating to provide care packages to mothers in need through pregnancy resource centers (PRCs) in Southern California.

Before I joined Live Action, I worked for nearly nine years running pregnancy clinics through a major PRC network. One of the services we provided to the abortion-minded women who visited our clinics was care packages.

These care packages served two important purposes for mothers. The first is obvious: offering practical support through essential baby items.

For women considering abortion due to financial difficulties, the provision of basic necessities — like diapers, wipes, and baby clothes — can be the difference between life and death for their preborn babies.

However, the second purpose was equally important and often proved to be more powerful. Our care packages gave women something tangible that would continue to speak to them after they left our clinic and serve as a reminder of their babies.

Many of the women we served at the PRCs in our network would return to difficult realities after their visits with us, feeling pressure or fear that could lead them toward abortion. Our thoughtfully prepared packages served as a strategic, emotional touchpoint, encouraging them to continue thinking about the new human lives growing within them.

This desire to help mothers facing these same pressures today is what drives our care package initiative. Our goal is to bless 300 mothers with care packages by the end of the month. Will you join us to help make this happen?
