Yup, you guessed it: I’m the only woman in this race.
In a time when women’s rights are under attack, Virginia deserves to have a woman leading the way in our fight.
And I know how to fight.
When Trump came after abortion rights, I helped to write and pass the constitutional amendment protecting women’s reproductive rights. And as the Trump administration continues to threaten women’s reproductive healthcare, I wrote and passed The Right to Contraception Act and delivered 55,000 signatures of Virginians to the desk of Governor Youngkin, asking him not to veto the bill again.
Earlier this month, Republicans in the House of Representatives passed the SAVE Act, which would make it harder for married women who have changed their last name to cast a ballot. This is a targeted attack on women’s right to vote. And Virginia needs a woman leader fighting back.
