It didn’t take long for Lauren Boebert to make herself one of the most widely reviled members of Congress. A sycophantic servant of Trump and his MAGA agenda, she has been a vocal defender of the most unhinged conspiracy theories popular among Republicans while gleefully embracing the racist cruelty and homophobic bigotry that accompanies the Trump movement.

A woman who seems to think that her job is to create soundbites for Fox News rather than representing the interests of her voters, Boebert has been a constant magnet for controversy and scandal since the day she took office. No wonder more and more of her voters have had enough of her shenanigans; her last election was won by a meager 546 votes.

Enter Rear Admiral Eileen Laubacher, who just announced her candidacy for Boebert’s seat.

A former member of the National Security Council, Radm. Laubacher served our country in the US Navy for 34 years, rising to the highest ranks of leadership and earning a slew of commendations along the way. After retiring from the Navy last October, Laubacher was looking forward to some well-earned peace and quiet and some time with the grandkids — but then Trump won.

After watching Boebert gleefully rubber-stamp Trump’s trampling of our Constitution and the rule of law, Laubacher felt the call to serve once again. That’s why she’s running to send Lauren Bobert packing and restore both our majority and some dignity to the United States Congress, which has been sorely lacking thanks to the antics of Lauren Boebert and the rest of the MAGA crowd.
