͏‌ ͏‌ ͏‌ ͏‌ ͏‌ ͏‌ ͏‌ ͏‌ ͏‌ ͏‌ ͏‌ ͏‌ ͏‌We wanted to make sure you saw Jim’s message below. It’s thoughtful, it’s honest, and it’s a good reminder of what’s at stake.
This moment is about more than politics. It’s about how we show up, and what kind of leadership we believe in.
That’s why tonight’s mid-quarter deadline matters, and we’re still working to reach our fundraising goal. Can you chip in $5 or even $25 to help us close the gap? [[link removed]]
Thanks for being part of this team,

Before I go any further, I’m going to ask something important, John: Can you make a contribution before tomorrow’s critical mid-quarter fundraising deadline? These next few months will define the direction of this country, and we need every ounce of support to stay on track. [[link removed]]

I’ve always tried to be an optimistic person. Hopeful. Grounded in faith, and in the belief that together we can build a better future.
But I have to be honest with you, John, I’m also fearful.
Fearful because what happens in this country over the next year will shape what kind of moral leadership we carry forward for generations to come. This moment is not just political -- it’s moral. It’s about right and wrong. Truth and lies. Progress and regression.
History ought to be instructive. We know what happens when we fail to learn from it -- when we deny it, distort it, or pretend it never happened. The facts are there, and they are not up for debate.
That’s why I won’t stop raising my voice -- because I’ve seen what’s at stake, and I know what we stand to lose. But I also know what we’re capable of when we listen to each other, work together, and stand united.
Donald Trump and his allies are hoping we stay silent. That we stay home. That we let cynicism or complacency win.
We have critical elections this year in Virginia and New Jersey. The outcomes will send a message -- not just about policy, but about our values. And how Democrats perform will determine whether we can make this country’s greatness accessible and affordable for everyone.
So today, I’m asking you to join me. Let’s show the strength of our convictions. Let’s remind folks that moral clarity and bold leadership still matter in this country.
Can you make a contribution before the mid-quarter fundraising deadline tomorrow? Every dollar you give helps us build a movement rooted in justice, compassion, and truth. [[link removed]]
Thank you,
Jim
