Need help with a federal agency?

Dear Neighbor,

Every day, my team of Constituent Advocates in Houston assist people across Texas’ Seventh Congressional District with matters before federal agencies, like obtaining benefits from Social Security, Medicare, and the VA, as well as resolving matters with the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) and United States Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS). To date, our team has successfully resolved more than 15,400 matters for residents of our district.

On that note, Team TX-07 Constituent Advocates will be on hand at the Chinese Community Center on Monday, May 19 to assist residents with matters before federal agencies. For information on this event and any other events, please see here or click the graphic below.

We are always glad to help by answering questions and helping solve problems. While we cannot guarantee a favorable outcome, we can promise you we will do our best to help you receive a fair and timely response.

Here are some of the things we have helped with in the past:

Helped reinstate Medicare benefits;
Helped resolve delays in USCIS case processing;
Helped obtain information regarding delayed tax returns and payments;
Helped locate lost and stolen mail;
Helped obtain Social Security retirement benefits; and
Helped expedite and renew passports.
