The Endangered Species Act is at risk!

Trump and the billionaires who bought access to him want to make it easier for corporate polluters to destroy wildlife habitat, increasing threats to already endangered species. The US Fish and Wildlife Service is collecting public comments on the impact of these decisions. We need to raise our voices to stop them before it is too late -- send your comment before the May 19 deadline.

Trump has been clear from day one that he doesn't care about protecting the environment or wildlife. Instead, he wants to make it easier for corporate billionaires (who donated millions to his campaign, by the way) to bulldoze our public lands and destroy critical wildlife habitat to increase their profits.

As I write this, Congress is actively trying to sell off vast tracts of public land to private developers to pay for corporate tax cuts.

Wildlife in the US is already running out of places to live, in large part due to habitat destruction. In fact, a football field-size patch of land disappears every 30 seconds to build roads, houses, pipelines, and other human development. 

With over one-third of species at risk of extinction, we should be working to protect more habitat, not less. Yet the US Fish and Wildlife Service has proposed changes intended to eliminate habitat protections required by the Endangered Species Act. This is THE most serious threat to the integrity of the Endangered Species Act that we have ever seen.
