This week, the MAGA majority is advancing a budget bill straight out of Donald Trump’s extreme Project 2025 playbook. It’s a plan that guts critical healthcare programs like Apple Health and food assistance programs like SNAP – all to hand out trillions in tax breaks for the super rich, on the backs of seniors, children, and families.

If this budget is passed, these cuts will devastate the South Sound. Over 40,000 households in the South Sound could lose access to food, and thousands of children and seniors could lose their health care.
