CF Foundation Urges Congress to Reject Harmful and Reckless Cuts to Medicaid

As conversations around cuts to Medicaid continue on Capitol Hill, the CF Foundation is urging Congress to oppose any changes that may threaten or eliminate access to vital health coverage for the nearly 40% of people with cystic fibrosis who rely on
Medicaid ([link removed]). Protecting and preserving Medicaid is critical to our mission of ensuring all people with CF have the opportunity to lead long, healthy lives.

June 5 (6/5) is 65 Roses Day!

Every year, we celebrate
the 65 Roses® story ([link removed])
% link:[link removed] name="65 Roses story link in text" content="" %]
on June 5 (6/5). Since 1965, the term "65 Roses" has been used by children of all ages to describe cystic fibrosis -- but making the disease easier to say doesn't make it easier to live with. Before 65 Roses Day, get familiar with the story behind the term and learn how you can make a lasting difference for the CF community.

Milestones III Surpasses $200 Million and Sets Bold New Goal

We're proud to announce we've surpassed our goal for the
Milestones III: Driven by a Dream campaign ([link removed]), raising more than $200 million to support our mission. This milestone marks a powerful moment in the fight against cystic fibrosis. To build on this momentum, we've set a bold new goal: raise an additional $50 million in the year ahead, bringing the campaign total to $250 million.

Check in With Yourself This Mental Health Awareness Month

May is
Mental Health Awareness Month ([link removed])
-- a time to increase awareness about the importance of mental health and work to reduce the stigma surrounding it. People with cystic fibrosis, or those who care for someone with CF, are more likely to experience clinical depression or anxiety. Consider taking time to check in with yourself and talk to your care team to see if you or your child can benefit from treatment.
