John,
Here at Emerge, we’re proud to train and support women across the country who are breaking barriers, championing bold policies, and building a government that truly reflects the people it serves.
Emerge women at every level of government are fighting to get things done for working families:
🌟 In Colorado and Maryland, State Rep. Leslie Herod and Sara Love helped lead the charge to get family leave legislation over the line in their states. Over in Maine, State Sen. Mattie Daughtry and Rep. Kristen Cloutier worked together to get family leave passed through the state legislature.
🌟 Real progress begins at the local level, and Mayor Michelle Wu championed policies to secure paid family leave for city workers in Boston.
🌟 Delegate Destiny LeVere Bolling made history by remotely casting her vote in the Virginia House of Delegates just one week after giving birth, showing everyone that you can be an effective legislator AND a mom.
When women serve, they bring the lived experiences of caregivers, workers, and community builders to public service, ensuring that public policies support ALL of us. Our alums are reshaping what leadership looks like and delivering on policies that support working families– paid family leave, affordable child care, quality education, reproductive rights, and more!
We’re training the next generation of changemakers, but we need your support. Will you make an investment in Emerge today so we can help train even more strong women leaders who will fight for working families?
