Dear John,
I’m grateful to see how our community has responded to this incredible $50,000 Matching Gift Challenge, made possible by longtime supporter and Founders Society member, Joel Berman — but we still need your help today.
Long before the COVID-19 pandemic, Joel’s wife, Sandy, of 30 years encouraged him to travel with her. At first reluctant, he joined her on countless trips, eventually visiting every continent before she received a dementia diagnosis.
Today, in memory of Sandy, Joel proudly shares a challenge for people, like him, who believe in creating a world without Alzheimer's: He has agreed to match all donations made to this challenge, up to a total of $50,000, if we can raise that same amount by June 30. His gift will help advance critical research and provide much-needed care and support services to those impacted by Alzheimer's.
We're getting closer to reaching our goal, but we need people like you to help us over the finish line. Your gift today can have 2X the impact to help continue our mission to lead the way to end Alzheimer's and all other dementia — by accelerating global research, driving risk reduction and early detection, and maximizing quality care and support. Will you make your gift today, while it can go twice as far?
The COVID-19 pandemic has hit people living with Alzheimer's and their caregivers especially hard. For many, right now our free 24/7 Helpline (800.272.3900) is a critical connection to the outside world. Families are counting on us.
Please don't miss this chance to make twice the impact at this especially challenging time. Thank you for joining us today in this fight.
Sincerely,
Donna McCullough
Chief Field and Development Officer
P.S. Your gift today can go twice as far to ensure that Alzheimer's care and support services continue while you also help advance critical research. We have a limited time left to have twice the impact, so please give generously today.

Thank you for your continued support.
