BREAKING: Republicans just approved MASSIVE cuts to Medicaid in the House Energy and Commerce Committee. James, this is an all-hands-on-deck moment.

Medicaid funding is relied on by millions – literally keeping people alive – and along with our founder Bernie Sanders and allies like Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, Our Revolution is mobilizing with everything we’ve got to Save Medicaid.

Our team was on the Hill ALL DAY bird-dogging vulnerable Republicans to force them to confront the reality of these cruel cuts, and strategizing with supportive lawmakers on the best way to defeat the bill. We have been calling and mobilizing progressive voters for weeks to activate them in this fight.

With the bill set to go to a full vote on the House floor, we’re activating our 57,000 strong Citizen Army to follow Bernie’s lead and make every vulnerable Republican understand that voting to cut Medicaid is political suicide.

It’s not an exaggeration to say lives are on the line. This bill could SLASH Medicaid spending by $880 billion, alongside huge cuts to nutrition assistance and so much more. It would RIP healthcare away from millions, especially seniors, people with disabilities, and low-income children and families.

Even some Republicans are admitting this bill risks "plunging our most vulnerable into crisis" – highlighting the severity, cruelty, and recklessness behind Trump's budget scheme – and that is the key, politically, to stopping this bill in its tracks.

Thousands of us have spoken out and Our Revolution activists have been bird-dogging reps on Capitol Hill. Now we need to dramatically ramp up the pressure on vulnerable Republican House members in tight districts, and to do that we need your support.
