In an interview, Donald Trump said he doesn’t know if he needs to uphold the Constitution. And now, nine days later, Republicans have yet to speak out.

It’s deeply disturbing.

I’m urging my Republican colleagues to grow a spine and condemn the anti-constitutional rhetoric coming out of the highest office in the land.

It’s unacceptable that Trump’s dangerous response has been largely ignored, and I will not rest until this administration is held accountable for its blatant disregard for our Constitution and our democracy.

I’m not letting this go. But the fight to defend our fragile democracy will take all of us, so I’m asking you now:
