Will You Help Unyil Heal?

Friend,

Meet Unyil.

Unyil is one of the 31 monkeys who are now safe at Jakarta Animal Aid Network (JAAN) after being rescued last fall. This two-year-old monkey was stolen from the wild as a baby and forced into the cruel dancing monkey industry in Indonesia. Chained and deprived of social interactions, he was fragile and scared when the rescue team took him in.

Unyil needed time to heal–from illness and the uncertainty of being rescued. But thanks to supporters like you, he’s made a remarkable transformation.

Unyil is thriving . He’s healthy, active, and loves his favorite snacks—tempe and bananas. He recently tested negative for TB, received all his vaccinations, and has officially moved out of quarantine into the socialization enclosure at JAAN. This is an exciting milestone we are so proud he has achieved.

And here’s the best part: Unyil loves being part of the group . He’s playful, confident, and social–constantly grooming his friends and bringing joy to those around him. With his unique short tail and sunny personality, the team at JAAN says he’s impossible not to love.

But Unyil’s journey isn’t over. He and the other monkeys at JAAN need ongoing care, nutritious food, medical support, and a safe, enriching environment. And that’s where you come in.

Will you join The Wild Side, our monthly giving society, to provide consistent support Unyil and the other monkeys at JAAN? [[link removed]] Your gift will play a vital role in the care and recovery of 31 rescued dancing monkeys as they prepare for life back in the wild—while also supporting our global efforts to rescue and protect more animals in need.

Friend, this is your chance to be part of Unyil’s extraordinary rehabilitation journey. Please join us today and help Unyil and the other monkeys reclaim their freedom and the wild lives they deserve.

With heartfelt gratitude,
